NDA Releases 78th Combatant Course List as Selected Candidates Face September Deadline

The Nigerian Defence Academy has announced which candidates have been accepted for the 78 Regular Combatant Course and which are on the waiting list.

The selection process ran from early July through mid-August this year, and those who passed are now being called to join.

They need to show up at the NDA's Ribadu Campus in Kaduna on Saturday, September 12th. Anyone who doesn't arrive by Monday the 14th will lose their spot.

When they get there, successful candidates will be met at the Drill Shed.

The Academy stressed that only those who were actually selected should report people on the reserve list will be contacted if openings come up through their email or phone.

Candidates must bring original copies of all their important documents.

This includes their primary school certificate and testimonials, WAEC or NECO exam results, secondary school testimonials, birth certificate, and a letter confirming their state of origin.

The Academy will not accept photocopies. Anyone who shows up without original documents won't be allowed in.

They also need an original, properly signed form from their parent or guardian giving permission for them to attend.

On top of documents, candidates have to pack specific clothing and gear.

They'll need black and white trousers, a dark suit, national dress, black and brown shoes, canvas shoes, football boots, a hockey stick, white shirts, socks, bed sheets, and a pressing iron.

Female candidates also need to bring dark skirts, black or blue tights, and trouser suits.

Before arriving, all selected candidates must upload their O'Level results to the JAMB portal.

Anyone who didn't get their choice of academic programme should log in and change it while they can.

They also have to formally accept their admission through the JAMB system before they show up.

The Academy made clear that for the first three months of training, no one will be allowed to have visitors or leave the campus.
