Former Kogi West senator Dino Melaye has reacted after President Bola Tinubu referred to himself as governor at the inauguration of the APC presidential campaign council on Wednesday.

Melaye posted on his verified social media page that he never knew things had gotten this bad.

He said Tinubu is not a former governor or a president but a governor coming back for a second term.

Other social media users also reacted. One asked if there was anything wrong with the old man going home to enjoy his old age.

Another said it looks like a campaign strategy, the same thing that happened in 2023.

A third said Nigerians have now entered the one chance stage.

Na wa oooo. I no know say the thing bad like this. Not former Governor Bola Tinubu, not President Bola Tinubu. Governor Bola Tinubu back for 2nd term. Omase ooooo https://t.co/uQS3nIk9fG
