Exposed! Keshi Applied For Ivorien Coaching Job Through Agent

 

Following the reaction of the Nigerian Football Federation to the listing of Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, as a potential candidate for the post of the coach of the Elephants of Coted’Ivoire, the Ivorien Football Association has dug up relevant information.

 

Reliable NFF source revealed on Wednesday night, July 1, that  the Glass House representative sent to Abidjan to investigate Keshi’s link with the job by the NFF had returned home with vital documents.

 

The source said the Ivorien FA gave the NFF the necessary information, confirming that an agent made an application for the Elephant's job on behalf of Keshi.

 

The same agent later applied in writing, withdrawing Keshi's application, according to the source.

 

“The NFF now has all the details of how Keshi got linked to the Ivorien job. The man sent to Abidjan had returned with all the details. From his findings, Keshi was alleged to have applied for the job through an agent and the same agent wrote the Ivorien FF withdrawing the application. The NFF “envoy” will in the next couple of days present his report to the executive board of NFF who will now decide on what to do based on the facts before them,” the source said.
