Former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike says men from an Imo State waste management agency and armed police officers from Oji Police Station invaded his hospital in Imo State.
He says they assaulted staff and patients and took away the hospital administrator and cashier.
He made the claims online, on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
He said the raid came after an earlier police invasion on September 25, which he says was ordered by the DPO of Owerri Urban Division.
He shared videos he says show armed men in uniform arresting some hospital staff.
Emenike has asked Governor Hope Uzodimma, the Nigeria Police Force and the Imo State Police Command to investigate.
He also wants the administrator and cashier released, anyone injured to get medical care, and CCTV footage and other records kept safe.
The allegations have not been independently verified.
The Imo State Government, the police and the waste agency have not yet responded.
