According to several reports, the 34-year-old singer will guest star as Lucious Lyon's (Terrence Howard) mom in a flashback scene.
The show's highly anticipated second season is set to debut on September 23 with high profile Guest stars such as Chris Rock, Alicia Keys, Marisa Tomei and Lenny Kravitz making an appearance.
The show also returns with Magic Mike XXL actor Adam Rodriguez starring as Cookie's love interest.
The debut season had guest stars like Estelle, Naomi Campbell, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J Blige and Snoop Dog among others.
