Muhammadu Buhari rtd, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Governors of Kano and Imo States, Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso and Chief Rochas Okorocha, and the publisher of Leadership Newspaper, Sam Nda-Isaiah will be contesting to clinch the party's presidential ticket in the coming elections.

The venue for the primaries is at at the Teslim Balogun Stadium and about 10,000 delegates will be present
