KCee's Manager Reportedly Fired For Faking Skiibii's Death

The Five Star Music camp is not in a friendly mood at the moment. The label has been at the centre of the Skiibii 'death' stunt that flooded the Nigerian media on Friday, August 14, 2015.

The management of Five Star Music record label has frowned at the fake death stunt pulled on their artiste Skiiibii Mayana which went viral on the social median on Friday, August 14, 2015.

The label’s lead act, Kcee reportedly stated that Soso Soberekon, who before now was the General Manager of Five Star Music, has been fired for misleading the public on the Skiibii death story. Soso was said to have been the brain behind the stunt as he confirmed via phone call to popular blogger, Linda Ikeji that Skiibii had indeed died.

He also went on to put up a black candle post on his Instagram page, insinuating that the young music had indeed passed on.

According to Kcee, who was a guest on Cool FM yesterday, 19th of August: ‘I’m really very sad and annoyed and I blame my manager Soso Soberekon for this mess. As we speak now, he has been fired.

"We’re still very angry at his unprofessional manner, and we have made it a must for him to apologize to everyone affected, especially to the fans and Linda Ikeji who first broke the news”.
