Some soldiers in the Nigerian army say they are training in their bathroom slippers and are accusing their commanders of corruption.
In a shocking and yet revealing video report by Al Jazeera, some soldiers in the Nigerian Army are alleging that they are not given adequate gears to train, as they wear rubber slippers and casual wears during training.
The video clip also disclosed that the military officers revealed that they are being denied money meant for food, accommodation, training and equipment, as such funds have been diverted by some officers.
