Tiger Woods has spoken out for the first time on his break-up with his lover of 3-years, Lindsey Vonn. The former world number 1 golf player told reporters that he hasn't had a good night rest since they amicably parted ways.
Former World number 1, Tiger Woods, was seen on Tuesday for the first time since the announcement of the end of his relationship with skier, Lindsey Vonn.
Woods, who played a practice round of Golf at the TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, later spoke to reporters about his break-up.
The golfer revealed that the end of his relationship upset him and he's been having insomnia, not just because he and Ms Vonn broke up, but due to the fact that it coincided with the ninth anniversary of his father's death.
He said of the split: "Obviously, it does affect me. It is tough, there's no doubt. I'm not gonna lie about that, it is tough".
"On top of that, this time of year is really, really hard on me. This three-day window is really hard; I haven't slept. These three days are just brutal on me. Obviously with what happened on Sunday, it just adds to it", Woods lamented.
