Not much is known about the Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomhole's previous family. However, one of his daughters has opened up on exactly why neither her nor her sisters attended the wedding.

Governor Adams Oshiomhole's children did not attend his wedding to Iara Fortes because they were not well-informed on the wedding proceedings.

Winifred Isimakhome Oshiomhole, one of Oshiomhole's daughter made the disclosure when asked by the media.

She said, ''The information for the day was not properly circulated, I would say I was busy taking care of my life, work and my family and I must have missed out on the plan, I cannot say for the rest of my sisters but I am sure we were not properly informed. I wish the couple a great married life and I am sure she will make my father happy''.
