Man Sentenced to Prison for Possession of Artificial Organ

 

A smuggler's luck ran out after he was recently caught at the airport hiding an artificial organ in his bag.

 

Police arrested the unnamed man at King Khalid Airport in the capital, Riyadh when they searched his bag and found the banned item. It cannot be said if the artificial organ was for personal use.

 

However, a Saudi court sentenced the Arab expatriate to 13 months in prison and ordered him lashed 50 times. 

 

The court also ordered the deportation of the man, who arrived in Riyadh from another Arab country after he must have finished serving his terms.
