Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state is currently undergoing treatment for an undisclosed illness at a London hospital.

The governor’s London hospital trip was disclosed in a statement he issued through his media aide, Mukhtar Gidado, ahead of the Supreme Court ruling on the Bauchi governorship election petition, Daily Trust reports.

“I am in hospital in London but we strongly believe that Allah is sufficient for us and He is Able and Capable to give us victory! Cheers, success shall be ours InshaAllah! Cheers to you all,” he said.

He also promised to recognise and reward those who contributed positively to his movement and show loyalty to him and the Bauchi project.  The governor stated that the period of the Supreme Court judgment has provided the avenue for him to take note of his real supporters and those who are not.
