Doctors are still baffled after wrapped wads of Egyptian currency were discovered in a patient's stomach.

Egyptian doctors examining a patient with severe pain in the stomach were utterly surprised to find money notes wrapped inside a plastic glove in his stomach, reports emirate247.
Doctors are still shocked as they could not understand how the currency notes entered the patient's body to his stomach.
Doctors ordered a scan for the patient in the hospital in the Egyptian capital Cairo after he came with severe pains in his abdomen, suspecting he had appendicitis. But the scan revealed a plastic bag containing Egyptian currency notes which they said caused the pain and vomiting by the patient.
“We performed an operation to remove that bag which contained 1,000 Egyptian pounds.
“We have seen metal items or bones in patients’ stomachs but this is the first time we find money,” a doctor said, quoted by local newspapers.
They said the patient was detained by the police for questioning on how the money reached his stomach.
