Jealous Husband Burns Himself While Trying to Burn Wife's Lover's Car

 

Police in Harare have arrested a jealous husband after he accidentally set himself on fire while trying to torch the car of his wife’s secret lover, police in Zimbabwe said. 

 

According to police, the husband, Munyaradzi Nyandoro was accused of engaging in a high-speed chase with Tendai Mujakachi, the wife's lover before burning his car and himself.

 

Police investigation revealed that after finding out that his wife was having a sexual relationship with Mujakachi, he used her phone to lure him to his house while posing as Stella his wife. When Mujakachi arrived, Nyandoro tried to attack him, but he quickly fled from the scene with his car.

 

Nyandoro pursued him as the two engaged in a high-speed chase. As Mujakachi's car developed a fault, he fled by foot leaving his car behind. Nyandoro went to a nearby gas station and bought gasoline he used in setting the car on fire but accidentally, part of his body was burnt in the fire.

 

He suffered severe burn to his face, chest and hands before he was taken to Parirnyatwa Hospital for treatment.
