UPDATE: ‘We Were Tortured’ – MKO Abiola’s Family Narrate Horrible Ordeal With Gunmen

The family of late Moshood Abiola has narrated their ordeal with gunmen who stormed their Ikeja residence on Wednesday.

In a statement on behalf of the family, Tundun Abiola said members of the family were harassed and tortured by the gunmen.

She disclosed that they stole cash and went away with valuable items belonging to the family.

The statement read: “The hoodlums subjected us to extreme emotional torture and harassment and stole cash and other valuable items belonging to the family.”

Tundun added that police have been informed of the incident and have begun investigations.

“The crime is being investigated. We are consoled by the fact that no life was lost in this unfortunate and frightening incident,” she added.
