Controversial OAP, vlogger and entrepreneur, Toke Makinwa has taken a jab at Presidential aide Lauretta Onochie following her statement about the CNN investigative reporting on the events that occurred at the Lekki tollgate on October 20.

Recall that Lauretta Onochie had accused the American news agency of lying in its documentary.

Reacting to this, Toke Makinwa wondered how the presidential aide went from "criticizing the government to blindly forgetting the side she once took." She added that it is sad that Nigerian politicians garner votes with "empty promises of doing better and forgetting once they get there."

She Tweeted;

"I will sincerely love to ask Aunty Lauretta what changed? Like, how did she go from criticizing the government to blindly forgetting the side she once took, is this how it works? Wow

Honestly it is sad, sad how they use us to garner votes with empty promises to do better and once they get there, they forget. We need to sensitize the general public and educate the grass roots, if they cannot be bought we can stand a chance because ko ye mi mo o".

Toke also reacted to Lai Mohammed's call for CNN to be sanctioned over its documentary about the Lekki Toll Gate Shooting.

The media personality in her tweets earlier, stated that Nigerian leaders always find a way to shock people. Toke went on to say a prayer for Nigeria.

She Tweeted;

"Every time you think you’ve seen it all in Nigeria, our leaders find a way to shock you, gpshhhh I pray for my country with so much potential, when God? When????

You want to sanction CNN??? Make it make sense'
