Young Woman Reportedly Impregnated And Abandoned In Rivers Found Lying Along The Road In Critical Condition

A popular advocacy group, Centre For Basic Rights Protection And Accountability Campaign has taken to Facebook to share pictures of a young pregnant woman in a critical condition in Rivers state.

According to the group, the young woman simply identified as Happiness was impregnated and abandoned by a man.

She was found lying in critical state along the road by OPM free specialist hospital junction, Omuahumnwo, Uniport road, in Aluu.

An Obstetic scan report attached to the post shows that her uterus has ruptured and the fetus "non-viable and non-active"

An operation needs to be carried out urgently to evacuate the foetus and save her life.

The lady miss happiness needs urgent attention. She was impregnated by a man who has abandoned her and ran away. The child in womb has died and her womb has ruptured. She need urgent CS in the next 24 hours to keep her alive. She's currently lying helplessly in a kiosk build along the road by OPM free specialist hospital junction, Omuahumnwo, uniport Road."
