Suspected bandits have released the abducted wives of Mallam Mustapha Madaki, the District Head of Zungeru, Wushishi Local Government Area of Niger state.

The Nation gathered that the two women were released after they had paid N5 million, 100 handsets and 5 Bajaj motorcycles as ransom.

However, the District Head who was abducted alongside his wives is yet to regain freedom as the abductors are demanding more money for his ransom.
