Yeah, you heard right! It has been revealed that Mariah Carey's billionaire boyfriend proposed to her on Thursday night, and she said yes.
The alluring singer is now set to wed Australian businessman, James Packer, according to E! News.
Carey's future husband reportedly popped the question in her hometown and slid a 35-carat diamond ring speculated to be worth over $5 million onto her finger.
The pair have been together for just under a year. They first met at a film premiere in Aspen in 2014. The New Yorker told E! News in November: "We were talking and laughing and people were getting mad at us and stuff like that. So, we hit it off."

An insider also said: "As soon as their friendship turned romantic, they have wanted to spend every moment together. They have a connection that is unparalleled; it's been a very beautiful experience for them both. If you spend even five minutes with them, you can't help but believe in true love."
Mariah who is either 45 or 46, as sources differ, was previously married to Nick Cannon from 2008 to 2015. They have two children together, but this will be Carey's third marriage.
