Yelwa area, a suburb of Bauchi metropolis of Bauchi State has been thrown into a state of commotion after a police officer allegedly stabbed three residents, leading to the death of two.
Punch reported that angry youths of the area have blocked the road from Elim Church junction to the Yelwa Divisional Headquarters, protesting the incident.
The angry youths were seen pelting stones at the police and inside the Yelwa Police Station. The police were also shooting into the air to disperse them.
The youths also set vehicle tyres on fire on the road.
