Bloody Romance: Man Hacked To Death By Lover's Son In Benin

A romantic relationship turned into tragedy on Monday night in Benin, when a middle-aged man, identified as Osayande Edoigiawerie, was allegedly stabbed to death by his lover’s son at Zabayor Street.

 

Edoigiawerie was said to have gone to his lover’s to have his dinner when the son of the woman, who is now on the run, attacked him with a dagger.

 

The mother of the assailant was said to have raised alarm, which attracted the people in the area to the scene. He was rushed to a nearby clinic, where he was confirmed dead.

 

When contacted, State Police Public Relations Officer, Stephen Onwuchei said he was yet to be informed of the incident.
