Uche Secondus has completed the hand-over of the mantle of leadership of the PDP to Sheriff amidst controversies aiming at the removal of the latter.

The embattled acting National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus has officially handed over to the new Acting National Chairman, Senator Dr. Ali Modu Sheriff at a low-key event at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Secretariat in Abuja.

It would be recalled that some members of the opposition party's Board of Trustees have kicked against the appointment of Sheriff who they believe is being forcefully imposed on the leadership of the party.

Regardless of the controversis, Sheriff has now taken over the mantle of the leadership of the party, promising to take the party to greater heights.
