A staunch supporter of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has boasted that the party will get 80% of votes from Nasarawa State in the February 25th presidential election.

This is according to the coordinator of Obidient Global Ambassador and Mobilisation Secretary for the one million-man march for Peter Obi in Nasarawa State, Wilson Kingsley.

The staunch supporter of the Obi-Datti (Obidient) movement boasted about pulling a bloc of voters for the Labour Party candidate on Tuesday while briefing newsmen at the party’s office in Lafia, the state capital.

The politician also informed journalists how prepared they are in Nasarawa State for the forthcoming elections, adding that they have supporters at the grassroots who are anxious to vote for Obi in the forthcoming presidential election.

”I’m assured that we are set, and all our hands are on deck as we work toward a new Nigeria. The essence of calling on people is to tell everybody to work harder toward the presidential election,” Independent quoted Kingsley as saying.

The politician further said Labour Party had garnered different support groups across the state because everybody was crying for change, and their only hope was in the party.

Kingsley expressed optimism that Obi will win the forthcoming presidential election, adding that the labour party was the most favoured party in Africa and the grassroots are calling on the party to take over for a new Nigeria.

He, however, said people need a new Nigeria, and the answer is Labour Party.
