Speaking via a viral video, the clergyman described those against a “third candidate” as demonic and daft.
The General Overseer of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Paul Enenche has tackled people against churches getting involved in politics.
The clergyman specifically described those against a “third candidate” as demonic and daft.
He insisted that such individuals are demonic ”agents from hell and only want the “destruction of the church.”
“For anyone to say the church should not be involved in governance and politics of the nation.
“He is either daft or deceived, dubious or a demonic agent from hell who wants the destruction of the church,” Enenche said.
Enenche who did not mention the name of the candidate in question noted that the preferred candidate is the only “sensible and credible way to go for the good of the nation”.
“The third candidate remains the only sensible, credible way to go not just for the good of any region or religion but for the good of the nation as a whole,” he said.
“Friend, you have been shown the way. Did you see the way? Follow the way out and vote. Do all you can to ensure that your votes count,” he added.
Speaking further, the pastor pleaded with his Congregants to get fully in the electoral process rather than being silent while their destiny is being “decided” by politicians.
Enenche condemned the actions of two candidates from the opposition parties adding that they will possibly get involved in “anti-church, anti-Christian and anti-society agenda” when voted as the next president.
“Today, some people say the church should not be bothered when out of the three frontline presidential candidates, two of them are likely to further the anti-church, anti- Christian and anti-society agenda,” he said.
“One of the candidates is of the same ethnicity, religion and region under whose watch. The nation has experienced such a level of unbelievable insecurity, mostly against the church and generally against all. The repetition of the same disaster is not to be imagined, especially as these same candidates have not condemned any killings once by his people.”
