Temitope Olorunfemi, the Uber driver, who was beaten and stoned to death last week in Akure, the capital of Ondo State, have been laid to rest.
His corpse was moved from a private morgue in Akure metropolis, the state capital, by his friends to Oda axis, where his body was interred.
While his body was lowered, his friends could not hide their feelings as they wailed all through the interment process.
Meanwhile, some commercial motorcyclists were attacked by the grieving friends while en route to the cemetery with his casket.
The deceased was beaten and stoned to death on Easter Monday after crushing some road users and injuring six others over alleged reckless driving.
His killers accused him of being an internet fraudster, commonly known as “Yahoo Boy.”
Earlier, some suspects who were alleged to be involved in the killing of the deceased, were paraded at the police headquarters in the state.
