He was suspended by the legislative arm of the local government over alleged misappropriation of funds and abuse of office.
The leader of the House, Idowu Okunade made this declaration on Wednesday.
The local government chairman was suspended during an emergency plenary.
He said, “You are speaking with the leader of the House. I am the leader of the House. Honourable Idowu Okunade by name.
“It is on misappropriation of local government funds and abuse of office.
“That is the main allegation we levied against him”.
