Former Kaduna lawmaker and social media critic, Shehu Sani has reacted to the arraignment of Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the March 18 governorship election in Ogun State, over alleged vote-buying.
TORI reported that Adebutu was arraigned before the Ogun State High Court on Monday in absentia by the Federal Government.
Adebutu and nine others were brought before the court by the Director of Public Prosecutions at the Federal Ministry of Justice on charges of vote buying during the 2023 gubernatorial election.
Reacting to the development in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday, Sani said those who were alleged to have engaged in vote buying for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are yet to be arraigned.
He wrote: “Those who bought for the ruling party are yet to be arraigned.”
