18-year-old Girl Reportedly R*ped And Murdered In Taraba

An 18-year-old girl, Wassa Joel, was reportedly defiled and killed by unknown assailants in Taraba State.

It was gathered that the incident happened in Lankaviri community, Yorro Local Government Area of the state on Sunday morning, July 30, 2023.

Details of the incident are still sketchy at the time of filing this report.

Meanwhile, members of the community have taken to Facebook to demand for justice.

According to one Moses Keke Kemuel, the Chief of the community, HRH Gana Mago, has called for calm following the gruesome murder.
