Chinedu Ikedieze, the veteran Nollywood actor, who is popularly known as Aki has made a fresh revelation.
He revealed how some people stereotyped him to be an illiterate because of his roles in movies.
The screen legend, stated this in a chat with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, where he affirmed people’s beliefs that he was uneducated, judging from his mischievous movie roles.
Changing the narrative, Aki said he is a university graduate with a substantial certificate.
He added that his mother informed him that he needed to attend school in order to be successful in life due to his stunted growth.
Aki stated that his mother informed him that due to his short stature, he could not become a carpenter or a bricklayer and that he needed to study hard in order to conquer the world.
He said: “Due to the mischievous roles I play in movies, some people think I’m not educated. My mother told me that I have to go to school and study hard to become successful because I cannot become a carpenter or a bricklayer because of my stunted growth.”
