Nasarawa State University gets first female Vice Chancellor (Photo)

 

Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman has been appointed as the first female Vice Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, NSUK.

 

Liman is a professor of Islamic Studies.

 

The announcement was made public by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Barrister Muhammad Ubandoma-Aliyu, on Wednesday.

 

According to the statement, the appointment was approved by Governor Abdullahi Sule and follows extensive consultations and a thorough review of the recommendations from the Professor Attahiru Jega-led Governing Council.

 

Governor Sule, exercising his powers as the Visitor to the state-owned university, officially approved Professor Liman’s appointment, which will take effect from April 15th, 2024.
