A video doing the rounds on on social media has triggered outrage as it shows a woman, identified as Olalere Mary on TikTok, confronting a staff member at a private school for having pupils carry buckets filled with broken concrete.
Sharing the video on her Tiktok handle, #dammyblak, on Thursday, she wrote, "Students not up to 10 years carrying concrete during school hours. I had to stop them."
In the video, Olalere pushed down the buckets from their heads and instructed the kids to go back to school
“What’s the name of your school?” She shouted in fury. “See children you are asking to carry this kind of heavy stuff. Did you hire them? There’s problem. These small children.”
The woman from the school, believed to be a staff member, defended the practice, claiming the buckets were not heavy.
However, the concerned Olalere insisted that the children drop the buckets and return to class.
She also threatened to call the police if they were not allowed to leave.
