Pastor Isa Andrew, Chaplain of the All Saints Police Protestant Church, Mopol 42 Mobile, who was kidnapped along with his 13-year-old daughter, Grace, has made a heartfelt plea for help in raising the N6 million ransom demanded by their captors.

The duo were kidnapped on July 14, 2024, from their residence in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State, and have been held in captivity for nearly four weeks.

In a video that has since gone viral, Pastor Andrew urged Nigeria’s First Lady, Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, and other well-meaning Nigerians to intervene and help secure their release by meeting the terrorists’ demands.

The abductors have issued an ultimatum, demanding the N6 million, along with two boxer motorcycles and one Honda motorcycle, to be delivered between this Saturday and the coming Thursday.

Failure to comply, they threatened, would result in them marrying off his young daughter.

Pastor Andrew revealed that his family had previously managed to raise and pay N6 million in ransom, after selling everything they owned and receiving help from compassionate individuals.

Despite this payment, the kidnappers have insisted on an additional N6 million ransom and motorcycles before they will release the chaplain and his daughter.

He also disclosed that his daughter has been subjected to mistreatment during their captivity, further intensifying his plea for urgent assistance.

The pastor, who suffers from diabetes, expressed concern that his prolonged stay in the terrorists’ den is worsening his health condition.

According to the pastor, the initial demand from the abductors was a staggering N60 million, but his wife successfully negotiated it down to N6 million.
