"Police operatives from A Division in Ilorin, Kwara State called me a few days ago to inform me of Faruk's death, after seeing the news of him being declared missing on SaharaReporters website.
"I was told that Faruk had an accident at Camp B, very close to Ilorin on the 28th of August, when he left Abuja. The police said the eight-seater passenger vehicle he entered had a head-on collision with a parked vehicle. He lost his life alongside a youth corps member," he said.
