We Are A Greedy Nation - Laura Ikeji Calls Out Business Owners Over Ridiculous Increase In Prices Of Services (Video)

Beauty entrepreneur Laura Ikeji Kanu has criticized business owners, including braiders, for the steep and unreasonable increases in the prices of their services.

In a video recording, Laura expressed shock at the rate her braider increased her charges just because it is December. She mentioned that just a few weeks back, her braider 

‘’We are a greedy nation. We are greedy. I braided this hair for N70, 000 before I left Nigeria.

"Now my braider is telling me that she will not charge nothing less than N250, 000 to braid this hair for my client, that I should charge the client N250,000 because it is detty December. 

"We will ruin this Detty December oo! We will ruin this Detty December and we will all rest''

Laura stated that she sells the most during December but she doesn't go about making sales in a greedy way.

‘’We are greedy…..Tell me why somebody will pay N250, 000 to braid hair?

"You guys think people who live abroad are billionaires. They are not! They are people like you. They have saved up to come and enjoy themselves in Nigeria.

"It doesn't mean you should exploit them. You guys are exploiting these people. I am angry'' she said
