An Hausa man out of trust transacted business with another Hausa stranger who he seemed to have trusted due to the tribal bond but he shockingly ended up being handed a counterfeit product.
Lagos they say is the city of hustlers, trust is not an issue here when dealing with people. Another weird occurrence was recorded within the Lagos metropolis.
According to the victim who shared his story on the social media to serve as a warning to other people, an Hausa man named Yao came across another Hausa-speaking man who claimed to be stranded and needed money to reach his destination, Badadry. Yao tried to be the good Samaritan by giving him a sum of N200 but the man proposed another deal to him by offering to sell his Nokia Smartphone to him at the rate of N5000, the later settled for a price of N2000 to the delight of Yao who asctertained the perfect state of the phone.
The stranger offered to help him package the phone which he did and they parted ways. When Yao got home, he discovered that the phone had been interchanged with a big soap.
