Nigerian Doctor Recounts How A Patient Who Tested Positive To HIV Attempted To Infect Him With The Virus

A Nigerian doctor has revealed a shocking incident involving a patient who reacted after testing positive for HIV at a general hospital in Lagos.

In a post shared on X, the doctor with the handle @silverpenydr stated that he had earlier informed the lady that she had tested positive to HIV.

He mentioned that the lady became emotional and dismissed the result, demanding that another test be done. The doctor said that two days later, the test result came back again, positive.

He said shortly after he relayed the new test result to her, the lady went ahead to do the unthinkable. He said she brought out a needle and attempted to stab him with a needle she had.

He said he escalated the matter and she was discharged immediately.
