Former Super Eagles coach and captain, Augustine Eguavoen, has urged the Nigeria Football Federation to support the team’s coach, Stephen Keshi, amid the ongoing rebuilding process in the team.
Eguavoen, who was part of the 1994 squad that won the Africa Cup of Nations stated that re-building a new team would require the NFF to support him inorder to achieve a positive result.
He said: ”Am not in the position to advice Keshi we can only support him and be a bit more positive minded.
”Football is a collective sport and as supporters and fans of the Super Eagles we should join hands to help the team do well,” Eguavoen said.
