A regular criminal has in the past stolen Plasma TVs, microphones, keyboards, generators, lighting materials as well as offerings and tithes, from a church in Lagos was nabbed and hell was let loose on him.
Theft in Lagos seems far from coming to an end with the increase in the number of coveteous people in the crowded state. Life in Lagos has become an issue of the survival of the fittest with miscreants feeding on their neigbhours in a parasitic way.
Another crowd-pulling incident happened at a church situated at Kayode Adebanji Street, NNPC, Ejigbo area of the state when a burglar, young man was nabbed as he reportedly made away with church electronics. He has a long history of elusively stealing from the church. He had successfully carted away with Plasma TVs, microphones, keyboards, generators, lighting materials as well as offering and tithes severally in the past.
On his day of judgement, he jumped over the fence of the church to steal a split unit Air Conditioner but some vigilant people sighted him and he was caught.
Severe beatings led to confessions of his crimes in the church. He was on the verge of being lynched when the Pastor of the church pleaded with the mob and handed him over to the Police for subsequent prosecution.
