A shocking report by The Nairobian has revealed that prostitutes have now devised a new tactics of luring men to have s*x with them as a result of hardship.

S*x workers in Nairobi streets have resorted to extreme measures to force men to pay for services rendered. Many have crafted ways of emptying the pockets of randy customers who are seduced into quick romps in dingy lodgings, behind buildings or along alleys.

Many victims are usually drunk or solitary men. The most vulnerable are those with an amiable appearance or petite bodies, especially past 10 pm.

Brenda, 22, a city s*x worker says hard times have forced them to try all ways to put food on the table and care for their children.

“I am a single mother and so are many of my colleagues. We have mouths to feed and if men are unwilling to buy services, then we must find way to get their money” she says.

They size up possible prey from a distance, then grab their arms and pull them close to their exposed breasts, cuddle them and offer brief romp popularly called “short” that goes for between Sh200 and Sh500.

When such men rebuff them, they stealthily swipe their wallets and dismiss them with a smile, calling them “cowards who are not men enough” or telling to “go have a nice one with your wife”.

John Mutie, a clothes dealer on Luthuli Avenue knows this only too well.

“She crossed my path and forced my hand to her breasts then asked me for a ‘short’ for Sh250. I refused but she started to caress me then let me go while smiling.

"It was when I got home that I realised the money in the back pocket was missing,” says Mutie.

These hardcore langas are not keen on men who tease them without plans for a romp.

Peter Kimani, a city matatu driver, says, “They are not short of hurling stinging insults. The prudent thing is to walk away if you turn them down and they tease you saying that you are incapable of a getting it up or too broke to pay,” says Kimani.

Sharon says their tricks always earn them something: “When you let a man touch your breasts or down there, they get excited and easily pay for se*x and leave you with a tip. If not, you empty their pockets.”
