General Muhammadu Buhari(rtd) has been declared winner of the winner of All Progressives Congress presidential primaries which has just been concluded in Lagos today November 11th 2014.
Buhari got 3430 votes out of 7214 votes to beat Atiku, Rabiu Kwankwaso, current Governor of Kano State, Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha, and Sam Nda-Isaiah, publisher of Leadership newspapers, and to secure the bid.
It was earlier reported yesterday that Rochas okorocha, Rabiu Kwankwaso and Sam Nda-Isaiah had withdrawn from the primaries in favour of Buhari, but that claim has been proven as false as all five aspirant participated in the primaries.
Buhari beat his closest rival Atiku by 2466 votes. He will be at loggerheads with incumbent, Goodluck Jonathan at the February 15th presidential election.
