Entrepreneur Creates Special Underwear That Solves 'Buttock's Cleavage' Problems

                   

 

Thanks to French entrepreneur, Adrien Herve-Pellissier, the infamous ‘builder’s bum’ otherwise known as ‘plumber’s crack’ or 'buttocks' cleavage' could be a thing of the past.

 

According to Oddity Central, he has invented a special variety of boxer shorts with an elastic band that adequately covers the offensive area. Given how common the eyesore of a problem is, it’s a wonder that no one’s ever thought of such a simple solution before!

 

“The underwear has a large elastic band on it, you see, so when you squat down we don’t have to see your a**e,” Adrien explained. He was inspired to design the underwear after witnessing the mortifying ‘crack’ first hand in Rennes. He then spent nine months recovering, and also coming up with a prototype of the underwear, which he’s named ‘le sourire de plombier’ (the smile of the plumber).

 

Ever since news of the underwear broke, Adrien says his phone has been ringing non-stop with purchase inquiries. “A lot of people laugh when they hear about the underwear, but in a positive way,” he said. “I get a lot of encouragement from all kinds of people: men, women, young and old.”

 

He only sells the underwear online for now, priced at €19.50 ($21) apiece. But going by the demand, he’ll probably be moving it to retail stores pretty soon.

 

Adrien thinks the reason his underwear’s become so popular is because people are fed up of reading depressing stories in the news. “When you look at the news in France it’s all bad,” he said. “Terrorists, war, things like that. When people see articles about people like me saying ‘I don’t want to see your arse,’ then they think it’s funny.”
