President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the establishment of six Colleges of Education in the country.
The approval was announced on Thursday by the Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmed, via his Twitter handle.
According to the statement, the colleges are to be spread across the six geopolitical zones of the country.
Mr Ahmed wrote: “President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the establishment of six new federal colleges of education in each of the six geo-political zones of the country: Bauchi, Benue, Ebonyi, Osun, Sokoto, Edo.”
