A 34-year-old man has been apprehended by the police for shooting dead both his mother and his step-father.

North Atlanta police say a 34-year-old man killed his mom and stepdad on Thanksgiving in their home according to CBS reports.
A spokesperson for the Cobb County Police Department said a shooting call came in around 7 p.m. after neighbours reported hearing gunshots.
Police arrived to find two people dead in the 5300 block of Camden Lake Drive.
The victims are husband and wife pair Michael Bradley DeLoach, 58, and Ellen Deloach, 60. There were also two other family members home during the shooting that were able to escape without injuries.
Dustin Ray Dixon, 34, of Marietta is charged with double murder. He also has four counts of aggravated assault and four counts of possession of a firearm or knife.
He is still placed under police cutody and it yet to be established why he committed the double homicide.
