Pope Francis Is To Make His First Visit As Pope To The United State Next Year

 

The Vatican has released a statement stating that Pope Francis would be visiting  the United States in September next year as the head of catholic church.

He will be traveling to attend the World Meeting of the Families, the Events which celebrates the family as the smallest and most important unit of the society which will be held in Philadelphia next year.

 

Pope francis would celebrate a Mass at Philadelphia's broad central city avenue, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, on September 27.

World of the Family Meetings were instituted by Saint John Paul II and have taken place every three years starting with the first one in Rome in 1994.

His visit will make him the fourth reigning Pope to visit the United States in history.
