Touching! Woman Heartbroken After Searching for Stranger Who Paid Her $200 Grocery Bill (Photo+Video)

 

 

This inspiring story will leave you tearful. Jamie-Lynne Knighten, a stay at home mother has shared her touching encounter with a most gracious man named Matthew Jackson. 

 

She told of her experience in a grocery store where she went to buy things with her two young children but was disappointed as her card was declined. She was at a loss and wanted to ask the cashier to place her items on the side so she can go home to get money. 

 

But, goodhearted 28-year-old Mathew Jackson who was in line behind her insisted on paying the whole $200 grocery bill. Although, she refused at first, but Jackson refused to take a no and offered his help. But he gave her a condition: “she should pay it forward and help another person in need.”

 

A few days later, Knighten called the gym, where Jackson told her he worked. She called to thank him and Angela Lavinder picked up the phone. Knighten told the manager that she was lucky to work with Jackson as he is a wonderful man. 

 

Lavinder began crying and informed Knighten that he was involved in a car accident and died. 

 

Knighten created a Facebook page called “Matthews Legacy” where she shared her story. Jackson’s mother said that she was comforted when Knighten reached out to her and told her about her son’s good deed. 

 

His mother said that this was the kind of person Matthew was. He helped people and never bragged about it. May he rest in peace. Mathew was a loving and kind person before his death.
