U.S Secretary of State, Kerry Breaks Right Leg in a Bicycle Crash

America's  Secretary of State, John Kerry, who led the U.S delegation to President’s Muhammadu Buhari’s inauguration on Friday, May 29,  roke his right femur in a cycling accident in Scionzier, France, on Sunday morning, May 31.

 

The U.S State Department spokesman, John Kirby  confirmed the incident.

 

According to the spokesman,the injury is near the site of a previous hip surgery,and as such, Kerry will return to Boston on Sunday for treatment at Massachusetts General Hospital with his doctor, who did the previous surgery.

 

Kitty said: "In the interest of time, and so as not to further delay those traveling with him, we will dispatch his aircraft back to the United States with the traveling party aboard."

 

The spokesman added that Kerry regrets his inability to visit Spain as planned, and he also won't be able to attend the Paris counter-ISIL coalition ministerial meeting on Tuesday, June 2.

 

Howevere Kitty said Kerry will participate in the Paris meeting remotely.
