Fire Razes Cars, Houses, Shops At Iyana Ipaja This Morning

A fire outbreak in the early hours of Tuesday morning, June 2, razed 9 cars, 5 buses, many shops and houses in Jafojo street along the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway in Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos State.

 

Eyewitnesses said that the incident started from one of the houses on the street but quickly spread to other buildings after men of the State Fire Service failed to come quickly to the scene.

 

It was gathered that the firemen departed the scene at some point when they ran out of fire extinguishers and water.

However, no life was lost.
