A man trying to ride an elephant has found out the hard way that climbing the huge mammal is not nearly as easy as he thought it was.

A video has shown the moment a man tried to ride an elephant but found out that getting atop the animal was harder than he ever thought.

The video starts with the man being hoisted by the elephant to its back, but he failed to sit properly on its back and almost slid down.

His friends came to his rescue by holding him and pushing him up so he could get back on top the elephant. What happens next will leave you rolling on the floor.
