Police Take Over APC National Secretariat, Abuja

Dozens of security officials in four patrol vans have taken over the All Progressives Congress National Secretariat on Blantyre Street in Abuja.

It was gathered in Abuja, on Wednesday, that the policemen who were complimented by officers of the Department of State Service, are at the location to forestall a possible breakdown of law and order.

Punch reported that the security officials mobilized in response to security reports about a planned protest by aggrieved APC members against the party leadership to register their displeasure over the conduct of the recently conducted Ward, local government and State congresses.
