Panic As Gunmen Kill Two APC Party Chieftains in Enugu, Abduct One During Meeting

No less than seven unknown gunmen, Tuesday, invaded the Enugu South Local Government Area office of the All Progressives Congress, killing the State Youth leader of the Party, Kelvin Ezeoha and one other member, Daily Post reports.

According to Daily Post, the incident happened while the members of the Party from ward III Obeagu Awkunanaw, Enugu South Local Government Area were having a reconciliation meeting.

A source disclosed that the assailants attacked the venue and killed the two party members instantly, while they also carted away one other member.

A chieftain of the party in the State disclosed that “some gunmen invaded the Enugu South LGA APC meeting this evening while their meeting was in progress and opened fire on the party members.

“They killed the immediate past Enugu South Local Government Chairman of the party, now the incumbent State youth leader, Mr. Kelvin Ezeoha and one other person. Another party member was kidnapped.”

The source said it was still unclear the motive behind the attack.

The police in Enugu State are yet to issue a statement on the incident.
